Actualmente, los sistemas alimentarios se encuentran entre los principales emisores de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI): a nivel mundial representan un tercio de las emisiones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 19px; line-height: normal;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Sin embargo, no menciona la progresiva eliminaci\u00f3n de los combustibles f\u00f3siles en la producci\u00f3n de alimentos y la transici\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica en la agricultura, dos puntos cruciales para ayudar a mitigar la crisis clim\u00e1tica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 19px; line-height: normal;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Hoy en d\u00eda, el sistema agr\u00edcola predominante se basa en el uso masivo de pesticidas que, adem\u00e1s de da\u00f1ar la salud y la biodiversidad, empeoran el calentamiento global. Los sistemas agroecol\u00f3gicos no utilizan venenos, conservan el medio ambiente, garantizan relaciones laborales m\u00e1s justas y apoyan las econom\u00edas solidarias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 19px; line-height: normal;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 En Brasil, por ejemplo, la agroecolog\u00eda ha sido practicada durante siglos por pueblos ind\u00edgenas y comunidades tradicionales, como los quilombolas y las comunidades ribere\u00f1as. Por tanto, la transici\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica en la agricultura es urgente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 19px; line-height: normal;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico afectan los reg\u00edmenes de producci\u00f3n, la seguridad alimentaria y los ingresos de los productores. Las sequ\u00edas y las inundaciones destruyen los cultivos y la infraestructura agr\u00edcola.
