Green Leaders launch Global Greens Strengthening Democracy Network
Join Greens leaders from around the world – Elizabeth May, Marama Davidson and Frank Habineza – on May 8 as we launch the Global Greens Strengthening Democracy Network.
Formed out of the Global Greens Congress in Korea, the new Network will be hosting conversations and galvanis action to support Greens around the world deepen our commitment to grassroots and globalist democracy, combat corruption, face down the rise of authoritarianism, and work together towards a truly democratic world.
Better participation makes better policy, and a better world. Global Greens are committed to diversity, inclusivity, giving voice and representation.
The launch will hear from Canadian Greens co-leader and MP, Elizabeth May, Rwandan Greens Presidential candidate and MP, Dr Frank Habineza, and co-leader of the Aotearoa / New Zealand Greens, former Minister, Marama Davidson. The Network’s co-founder and co-convenor, Tim Hollo, from Australia’s Green Institute, will chair the event.
