There is dramatically little progress during COP28. We have a muffled cry, filled with all the despair we all carry. We desperately need a dramatic change in policy throughout the world, and now we see the result that they have let in over 2,000 oil lobbyists.
Moreover, the politicians in the oil countries themselves have not taken the responsibility that rests on their shoulders, to change the policy in the country to limit the growth of oil consumption the world must have if we are all too survive this. It is time to understand that the party is over!
The delegates need to start talking about degrowth, but the high-flyers at COP28 seem to be a long way from understanding that we are at the beginning of a disaster.
