Dear Global Greens,
Diversity in our representation has always been a focus when selecting our Global Greens delegates. We are a united front, taking on global environmental issues and our membership reflects that. With the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) fast approaching, this is more important than ever.
We have wrapped the process to find our representation for Glasgow, and assembled an incredible group of delegates that possess the passion, experience and dedication you would expect. However, seven of our candidates require financial support to attend and we need to raise €9,000 to ensure finance is not a barrier. If you can, please donate here.
We don’t ask for donations often, but we’d really appreciate your help in ensuring these incredible individuals can champion the Global Greens at this years’ climate change conference.
2020 was a year of unprecedented climate events and COVID-19 has catalysed growing inequalities in our societies. This years’ COP is critical and we’re poised to have a huge impact – particularly given the fantastic grassroots organising that’s been done by the Global Greens COP26 Working Group.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to work together to promote truly global action on climate justice.
